The law defines a patent as a right granted to an inventor that excludes others from making, using, selling or importing an invention without the inventor’s consent. The inventor may license or sell the rights that are defined within the claims of the

you would like to file a Patent either domestically within Australia or internationally, we can work with you to evaluate your specific protection needs before they are executed by experts on your behalf.

OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SERVICES

In addition to the range of services we provide across the area of Soft IP acquisition, we offer a range of services in relation to the ongoing management of your Soft IP. You may be faced with situations such as the use of your Trade Mark by another
party against your will, or may simply want to ensure nobody else holds a similar Trade Mark and Design to your own before too much work is invested. These areas, and many more, can all be proactively managed and mitigated by our experienced, knowledgeable
and dedicated team.

MONITORING YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Once your IP has been successfully registered, the possibility will still remain that others may try to register IP similar to your own. It’s not an easy task monitoring the IP that is filed in every country on a daily basis, but this is a service our
team offers as part of our comprehensive approach to ongoing global IP management and protection. If requested, our team can monitor the IP registers of the countries your IP is registered in, in order to watch for any similar IP registration attempts.
If a similar piece of IP is registered in a country where your own is already registered, we will inform you, and you can then make the decision to oppose/remove that IP from the IP Register in that particular country. If you decide to go ahead with
an opposition, our team can act on your behalf from beginning to end, leaving you clear to continue to focus on what only you can do well whilst we work on your behalf.

ENFORCING YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

If you have found that someone is using your IP without permission, you’re able to make the decision to enforce your IP rights against them so their actions will cease. ONE IP INTERNATIONAL can send a Letter Of Demand on your behalf, requesting them to
stop. If they do not comply, we can advise you with the range of options available to you in the ongoing stance against their illegal IP use. We’ll recommend to you what we believe your best option is when it comes to successfully enforcing your IP
rights, and once you have an option selected, we’ll be in position to execute this on your behalf.
